apni dhun mein rehtaa hun
mein bhi tere jaisaa hun
o pichhli rut ke saathi
ab ke baras main tanhaa hun
teri gali mein saaraa din
dukh ke kankar chunataa hun
mujh se aankh milaaye kaun
main teraa aa_inaa hun
meraa diyaa jalaaye kaun
main teraa Khaali kamraa hun
tu jivan ki bhari gali
main jangal kaa rastaa hun
apni lahar hai apnaa rog
dariyaa hun aur pyaasaa hun
aati rut mujhe royegi
jaati rut kaa jhonkaa hun

Niyat-e-shauq bhar na jaye kahin,

Tu bhi dil se utar na jaye kahin.

Aaj dekha hai tujhe der k bad,

Aaj ka din guzar na jaye kahin.

Na mila kar udas logon se,

Husn tera bikhar na jaye kahin.

Aarzu hai k tu yahan aye,

Aur phir umr bhar na jaye kahin.

Ji jalata hun aur ye sochta hun,

Rayegan ye hunar na jaye kahin.

Ao kuch der ro hi len 'Nasir',

Phir ye dariya utar na jaye kahin.

Nasir Kazmi

نیتِ شوق بھر نہ جائے کہیں

آرزو ہے کہ تو یہاں آئے

Dil mein ek Lehar si uthi hai abhi
Koi Taaza hawa chali hai abhi
Shor Barpa hai khana-e-Dil mein
Koi deewar si giri hai abhi
Kuch to nazuk mizaj hain hum bhi
Aur ye chot bhi nayi hai abhi
Bhari dunia mein Ji nahi lagta
Jane kis cheez ki kami hai abhi
Yad ke be nishan jaziron se
Teri awaz aa rahi hai abhi
Shahar ki be chiragh galiyon mein
Zindagi tujh ko dhundti hai abhi
So gye log us haweli ke
Ek khidki magar khuli hai abhi
Waqt accha bhi ayega Nasir
Gham na zindagi padi hai abhi

Jab se tu ne mujhe deewana bana rakha hai
Sang har shaks ne haathon mein utha rakha hai
Us ke dil per bhi kari ishq mein guzri hogi
Naam jis ne bhi muhabbat ka saza rakha hai
Pattharoo aaj mere sir pe barastay kyon ho
Mein ne tum ko bhi kabhi apna Khuda rakha hai
Ab meri deeed ki duniya bhi tamashaee hai
Tu ne kya mujh ko muhabbat mein bana rakha hai
Pee jaa ayyam ki talkhee ko bhi hans ke Nasir
Gham ko sehnay mein bhi kudrat ne maza rakha hai

Hoti hai tere naam se wehshat kabhi kabhi
Barham hoi hai youn bhi tabiyat kabhi kabhi
Ae dil kisey naseeb ye tofeeq-e-iztiraab
Milti hai zindagi main ye rahat kabhi kabhi
Tere karam se ae alam e husne afreen
Dil ban gaya hai dost ki khilwat kabhi kabhi
Josh e junoon main dard ki tughyaniyon ke saath
Ashkon main dhal gae teri soorat kabhi kabhi
Tere qareeb reh ke bhi dil mutmain na tha
Guzri hai mujh pe ye bhi qayamat kabhi kabhi
Kuch apna hosh tha na tumhara khayal tha
Youn bhi guzar gae shab e furqat kabhi kabhi
Ae dost hum ne tark e talluq ke bawajood
Mehsoos ki hai teri zaroorat kabhi kabhi
